DESCRIPTION
Beautiful as well as clever piece consisting of three lathe turned maple sections. The pestle has a punched tin plate that does the grating. The bottom section serves as a stand and a receptacle for the powder. Fantastic original surface and patina. Very rare object. Ex Stephen-Douglas, Rockingham VT.

CONDITION
Stable repaired crack in the center section. Otherwise quite good and all parts functional. The photos tell the story.
