DESCRIPTION
Aside from the design if this were on cotton rather than wool foundation I would probably call it Heriz based on weave which is double weft and depressed warp. But its wool foundation and the design is clearly tribal. Tempted to pigeonhole it w/ Kurdish but I wonder if there are other ”Shasavan” options such as Hashtrud. Whatever you call it— Its beautiful, plush and decorative.

CONDITION
Note attrition of far side outer guard. Also slight flaring on the far end. Aside from this, mostly plush and Very good. Please see all photos.
