DESCRIPTION

Oil on canvas; classic 19th century Bartlett inspired Hudson highlands/West Point sort of composition. The amount of activity is dramatic with all kinds of things going on (Architecture, people, boats., Etc.). Unique luminous sunset colors of various tones of reddish blues ranging from mauve to lavender. Appears to be original frame albeit refinished. Very decorative painting.

CONDITION

Old painting. While original canvas was relined I can find no evidence of tears, in-painting, or other repair. Appears to be excellent condition.
