Urn finial-- probably Connecticut. Elegant arms; sausage turned posts; original rush seat and ball feet. Old if not original bottle green paint.

CONDITION
Looks like it ought to have a lower front stretcher. But there was never a mortice hole on the left post. Looks original on careful examination. Please examine the photos carefully. The photos tell the story.
